Director of Financial Planning and Analysis – St. Louis, MO
Overview
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of FP&A is responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, performance reporting, and forecasting to help drive sustainable profitable growth. He/she will have manufacturing and cost accounting experience providing insight into revenue, cost, and margin trends as well as free cash flow, working capital, and liquidity. Passionate about continuous improvement and finding solutions in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in and enjoys preparing financial models to analyze price, mix, profitability trends by lines of business, customer, and product. Provides financial guidance, recommendations, and tracking key initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform financial and non-financial analysis to monitor and identify trends in the Company’s operational performance, expense performance, working capital, cash, etc. Communicate trends to management as appropriate in a timely and concise manner.
· Lead budget and forecast processes
· Partner and collaborate with all functions to help make better business decisions and provide actionable data
· Support sales with pricing analysis and customer/product margin tracking
· Manage plant cost accountants, assist with inventory management initiatives and BOM/product margin reviews
· Coordinate monthly/quarterly close analysis and preparation of reporting package (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
· Prepare and lead weekly cash flow forecast review
· Provide guidance and support to departments, including monthly review of actual to budget spending and cost savings initiatives
· Assist in preparing presentations for senior leadership team and board meetings
· Assist with financial due diligence and transaction support
· Support annual audit and tax work
· Help with treasury and risk management requirements
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Finance or Accounting Degree, MBA preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
