Accounting Clerk- Accounts Receivable

We are a high volume and multifaceted construction company and we are looking for a team member to assist our accounting department

Expectations and Job Requirements

• Accounts Receivables
• Billings
• Resolve payment issues with contractors / clients
• Certified Payroll
• Must be familiar with construction accounting
• AIA Forms
• Monitor budgets of jobs
• Assist with the timely collection of payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting reports
• Organize records of invoices, bills and deposits
• Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law
• Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
• Be on time for meetings with clients and staff
• Organized and detailed
• Stay current on knowledge of all ongoing projects and clients
• Understand and maintain working knowledge of clients billings criteria – Certain clients have different billing platforms
• Pre-Qualification forms and customer vetting
• Help manage the customers experience
• File pre-liens / liens
