GMF Group Looking for Project Manager at Remote Full Time

Overview:

A confidential manufactured housing (“MH”) and recreational vehicle (“RV”) owner-operator (the “Company”) is seeking a Construction Project Manager to spearhead renovation and other capital expenditure projects for its portfolio of Florida MH and RV communities (“Portfolio”).

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for developing capital expenditure and renovation plans to improve the Portfolio’s properties, presenting such plans to the Company’s management / ownership, and executing on such approved plans (sourcing contractors, bidding out work, and ensuring work gets done properly and in a timely manner, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be a diligent and dependable worker, team player, strong communicator, and problem-solver who can multitask.

Responsibilities:

• Develop proactive capital expenditure plans to improve properties and reduce recurring repair and maintenance expenses (find solutions to problems, not band-aids)
• Address tenant repair and maintenance needs as they arise (as provided by the Company’s property management team)
• Form various contractor relationships in each Florida region where the Company operates (AC, plumbing, flooring, roofing, paving, landscaping, seawall, septic, painting, etc.)
• Bid out all capital expenditure and renovation project requirements to at least three contractors
• Monitor contractor selected by ownership / management to ensure successful completion of project within agreed timeline
• Visit Company’s properties regularly to assess capital expenditure requirements and confirm workmanship / acceptability of contractor work

Requirements:

• 2+ years of construction management, project management, or related experience
• Strong operational skillset and thorough understanding of the complexities of this position.
• Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen, provide resume, and share two professional references.

Pay: $3,500.00 – $4,000.00 per month
