Responsibilities
Review completed work for grammar, spelling, punctuation errors, and formatting to ensure high-quality documents.
Perform general office tasks, including answering phones, sorting mail, and running errands as needed.
Type a variety of documents, such as correspondence, reports, and policies, from rough drafts, voice recordings, and other sources.
Ensure accuracy and update documents promptly, making them accessible to all employees.
Transfer data from hard copy to digital formats, maintaining precision and efficiency.
Proofread and edit documents, identifying and correcting grammatical mistakes and errors.
Interpret documents from dictated tapes or voice recordings accurately.
Assemble and format typing material, creating presentations and spreadsheets from existing files and data.
Adhere to company security policies and procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma; additional training or certification preferred.
Basic touch typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
Proficiency in using data entry devices, such as optical scanners, for efficient computer input and editing.
Exceptional knowledge of storage and filing systems.
Proficient in the English language, with strong grammar and spelling skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Fast typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Reliability and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethics.
