Audits products on pallets by starting on bottom of pallet and going from pallet to pick ticket
Ensures all small, crushable, and loose products are properly repacked
Ensures address labels are correct by verifying against pick ticket
Ensures BOL is completed correctly
Ensures the accuracy of RX items containing lot numbers and expiration dates
Manages counting process of physical inventories, researches discrepancies, reports final counts
Documents and reports errors at the end of each shift
Assigns and monitors the work of others occasionally
Other duties as required and assigned
For food accounts, incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to senior management to initiate action.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
Minimum 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to apply basic calculations as related to quanities of product picked
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions
