Support the CFO for all finance activities at Genezen. Perform and oversee the transactional finance activities for AP, AR, and GL.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Liaise with external accountant on close activities, resulting in timely and accurate reporting for Genezen’s results
Perform and oversee AP, AR, and GL activities on a periodic basis, resulting in timely and accurate transactions to customers, vendors, and internal leadership to support the business
Support timely and within-budget implementation of new ERP (Dynamics 365) by creating and aligning processes with new system
Perform financial reporting procedures to assist with preparation of monthly reports to BOD and Executive Leadership Team
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including the CEO, CFO, CSO, Functional VPs, and Directors
Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders including external CPAs, Consultants, and Equity Partners
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
7-8 years of relevant professional experience
SKILLS / ABILITIES
Working knowledge and a history of working in enterprise-level ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), including implementations
Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
Strong data analysis experience with proven ability to manage large datasets and to work effectively at detail and big-picture levels
Ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks
Strong skills working with computer databases, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Highly attentive to details with great organizational skills and ability to interact with senior leadership
