About Our Team
The USA TODAY NETWORK is in search of talented college students looking for an enriching paid internship. Come join a global digital media company of more than 100 media properties across the country. As an Internship Program participant, you will develop, integrate and apply skill sets and experiences in support of
accountingand financial operations teams. The purpose of the internship experience is to provide opportunities where college (undergrad and grad) students can develop, grow and become the next generation of talent for the Network.
Enterprise programming offers mentoring, networking and real-world experience in a fun, entrepreneurial atmosphere. As part of
theteam, you will work on meaningful and impactful projects, as well as enjoy peer-to-peer engagement while working on activities that promote professional development supplemental to the job.
Responsibilities

Interns will work with accounting/financial analysts, and financial leadership teams to learn and sharpen basic and advanced accountingskills, analysis, research, balancing, reporting and communication.

Interns will learn to leverage tools for improving efficiency and accuracy during reviews.

Interns will work independently and collaboratively across teams to provide perspectives and insights for special projects identified by leadership as part of strategic growth initiatives. Critical thinking and analytical skills will be encouraged and sharpened.

Degree-seeking students currently enrolled at a college or university.

Accounting or Finance major.

Junior, Senior or Graduate level preferred with current GPA of 3.0 or above.

Well organized, detail oriented, adaptable and flexible.

Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving, decision making and analysis skills
-
High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.

Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.
