Directs and performs analyses of revenue operations, marketing activities, capital expenditures, FTE’s and departmental expenses. Responsible for annual operating and capital budget preparation. Works closely with Marketing to proforma reinvestment on all marketing events.
1. Directs the preparation of the Property Daily Operations Report (DOR), outlining month to date departmental revenues, expenses and EBITDA
2. Directs the preparation and circulation of trending reports and summaries weekly, monthly and annually, highlighting the prior periods performance compared to historical data for Key Performance Indicators including, Overall Gaming Revenue, win per guest (Tracked and Untracked), F&B Revenue, average cover by outlet, etc..
3. Responsible for preparing summary reports for Executive Management
4. Provide slot department with reports highlighting game performance and trending by denomination, vendor and theme
5. Provide FTE counts and overtime reports to departments and Labor Efficiency reports to Executive Management by comparing current FTE counts and driver information to historical performances
Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance and identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
Researches and prepares economic and statistical reports on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, cash flow, profit margins, etc.
Responsible for preparing/overseeing the preperation of the annual budgets and forecasts
Works with the Company Controller to prepare monthly forecasts by the 10th of each month for Executive Management
Assists management in developing assumptions regarding the volumes of business which could be expected under the current business plan and under alternative strategies.
Assists in the valuation of assumptions for reasonableness and consistency. Calls to the attention of senior management staff those assumptions which appear to be unreasonable or inconsistent.
Oversees and reviews the cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects assigned by senior management staff.
13. Primary support for Marketing reporting and data needs
14. Manage monthly direct marketing campaign data needs including, list generation, data and proof verification for Active, Seasonal, Recapture, New Member and Ad Hoc campaigns
15. Provide Marketing department with monthly reporting including: Player Segmentation reporting that details each segments’ overall worth, visitation, and play spend patterns.
16. Provide monthly tracked play summaries for Overall Club, Slots, Table Games and Bingo.
Provide recaps of marketing campaign impact on overall revenue by analyzing weekly, monthly and individual player performance
Performs analysis on events for management.
Works with the Hotel in Yield Rate Management and performance reporting for the hotel and reporting to the Hotel any rate suggestions or issues.
Analyzes contracts or other financial obligations of the Casino to ensure favorable agreement terms.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Manages and trains direct reports and works collaboratively with them to design a professional development plan that supports their continuous learning.
Interviews, recommends hires, writes and issues performance appraisals, resolves problems, provides open communication, and recommends corrective action and/or termination, when appropriate.
Analyze slot floor to prepare recommendations to the gaming director on floor layout and game type changes.
Perform table game analytics to help gaming director determine performance of games and to make recommendations on when to change table games (layouts and table counts).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related field AND five years of related experience in the gaming or hospitality industry as a senior analyst, supervisor or higher.
Advanced knowledge in the use of databases and spreadsheets (MS Excel, SQL).
Computer proficiency with accounting software in addition to MS Word, Access, and Sage.
Must be able to write reports using SQL.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
Preferred Requirements:
CPA.
Proficiency with Visual Studio.
