Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Retail Sales Manager, ensure customer service management and a thorough understanding of the dispensary’s compliance policies and retail procedures.
Requirements:
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related experience, preferred.
· Valid Occupational License and Budtending Certification.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in related position.
· Must be educated on all medical Cannabis products offered.
· Quick learner in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to provide services 40+ hours per week, including Saturdays.
· Strong Customer Service skills.
· Fluent in Spanish and English.
· Proficient in MS-Office.
Responsibilities:
· Works with cross-divisional teams to help build consensus on strategic objectives, goals, and sales and marketing plans.
· Supports Manager in implementing dispensary programs by working directly with the dispensaries team to execute action plans that meet operational objectives to improve patient experience and customer services.
· Fosters a work environment that is cohesive and represents the mission, values, and brand guidelines.
· Promotes a culture of teamwork, provides clear direction, and establishes candid priorities.
· Supports the dispensary managers by covering lunches, breaks, and absences upon request.
· Cultivates a team environment to ensure exceptional customer service.
· Developed a customer service team in skills and business knowledge, including how to educate customers on different types of cannabis-related products, effects, and safe usage, and determining suitable cannabis products based on the ‘customers’ needs, preferences, budget, and personal reactions to different strains of cannabis; ensures product knowledge data is accurate and current.
· Presents recommendations to Manager on how to improve the customer satisfaction.
· Ensures compliance with established health, security, and safety regulations.
· Monitors customer satisfaction and quality assurance, utilizing and creating metrics in order to provide recommendations for improvement to management.
· Improves staff effectiveness by tracking employee performance and assisting Manager with feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals; recommends training for employees to Manager.
· Oversees updates to brand signage, marketing platforms, and website to keep accounts current and up-to-date with new promotions, store hours, and highlights.
· Masters and maintains the ability to operate the point of sale (POS) system and its reporting function. Execute sales, make product suggestions, and coach employees in such tasks.
· Ensures compliance with handling, storing, selling, and tracking of products.
· Analyzes customer insights, consumer and market trends, and marketing best practices to build successful campaign strategies for innovative product launches, budtender engagement, and consumer education.
· Participate in retail promotional events that build ‘customers’ brand awareness.
· Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of cannabis products and strains, medicinal benefits, methods of consumption, and effects of products.
· Skill in treating internal and external customers with tact, courtesy, and respect. Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment.
· Skill in supervising, training, developing, and evaluating employees.
· Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
· Ability to provide and role model excellent customer service lead people and teams; and educate staff on how their actions affect the customer and the bottom line.
· Ability to change focus quickly.
· Ability to maintain a customer-first mindset.
· Ability to adapt to new rules, regulations, products, systems, and team members.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Two years’ experience developing and implementing sales strategies, with at least one year of experience marketing cannabis products.
· Experience supervising personnel is required.
· Experience with Google Analytics, and social media software.
· A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
· A valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purpose.
