Core Focus:
The Operations Manager – 3PL is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the overall performance of the warehouse/distribution center to ensure that business operations are executed efficiently and effectively. The Manager should be experienced in building a team atmosphere and will be expected to achieve cost-efficient labor management results while leading cross-functional teams to drive the business. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for executing warehouse performance objectives, tactical volume planning, continuous process improvement, and supporting employee relations.

In addition, the Manager will be responsible for executing warehouse performance objectives, tactical volume planning, continuous process improvement, and supporting employee relations.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
Ensure that the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Analyze financial data and use problem solving tools to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts, delivering results that meet/exceed company goals
Lead quality control audit programs and monitor production KPIs
Facilitate the recruitment, training, and performance of the entire staff
Improve/Maintain the overall quality of our customer service performance
Lead the frequent customer meetings to align/deliver 99%+ performance results for all KPIs.
Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
Preferred Skills:
Excellent working knowledge/experience using WMS/RF equipment (order fulfillment, inventory, etc)
Post-secondary education and related training
Familiarity with the use of the pallet jack, and other necessary warehouse equipment
Experience working in 3rd Party omnichannel environment to include shipping to wholesalers, store retail, and ecommerce fulfillment
