A national leader in public sector management consulting and services that delivers diverse business consulting services to a wide range of public sector groups is hiring a Manager of Human Resources Operations who will help build the scalable HR processes for our continued growth. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources Operations, our ideal candidate is passionate about building great teams, leveraging technology, developing scalable processes, and creating metrics and reporting to ensure we deliver on our plans. We are looking for an experienced individual capable of supporting Benefits, Payroll, HR Administration, Talent Management. Manager will design, deploy, streamline, and maintain human resource processes, programs, policies to support a scalable, progressive, and in legal compliance.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Assist in implementing a comprehensive human resources plan that builds a world-class Human Resources department and aligns with the strategic growth plan
Manages and oversees the Human Resources functions: onboarding, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
Assist in planning, leading, developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, processes, training, and initiatives. Identify and recommend solutions for process improvement based on trends, best practices, and employment regulations
Support all HR due diligence and integration activities to ensure timely completion of key milestones and ensure the successful completion of appropriate handoffs / interdependencies
Provide consultation, guidance, and support in all matters related to employee relations, including performance management, code of conduct, fair employment practices, accommodations, and all other application of local policies, work rules, procedures, and applicable laws
Ensure compliance with Company policies/practices and federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and the interactive process with employees
Update and maintain HR compliance programs; maintains other records, reports, filings, and logs to conform to EEO regulation, federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with HR vendor relationships (payroll, benefits, tools, etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Five (5) or more years of progressive experience within Human Resources,
including experience managing a team
Experience in a professional services or hyper growth environment strongly preferred
Proven knowledge of human resources, benefits and payroll laws including: EEO, AA, ACA requirements, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, and state/local payroll requirements
Solid project management skillset ability to prepare, analyze and lead the planning and delivery of complex tasks and projects
Experience with multi-state payroll administration, compensation, and benefits administration
Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, and prioritize important, competing projects
Self-starter with the ability to work virtually and independently; Strong desire to grow personally and professionally
Proven analytical skills, including the ability to transform disparate pieces of information and summarize analysis into understandable, actionable reports, and recommendations
Familiarity with MS Office Suite; Strong Excel Suite experience required
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, diverse, and dynamic environment
Professional and a team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience within Human Resources
MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field
SHRM-CP/SCP and/or PHR/SPHR Certifications preferred
Experience with F1 or H1 visa immigration management
Experience supporting HR work-stream through acquisitions and integration
