JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Creative Services – Design & Special Events – is looking for an upbeat, positive self-starter to oversee the accounting operations of our multi-departmental production unit. We’re looking for a flexible team player who can handle a busy and time-sensitive workload with a strong budgeting, A/P, and organizational background. The right candidate will have a proven track record of high productivity, excellence in writing and verbal communication, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Event or TV Production experience is a plus. Possible travel for event support required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage budgets and other financial documents in collaboration with the team
Create and maintain accurate recaps for all events and projects
Track budget data and assist in forecasting for short and long-term planning
Develop and maintain departmental finance systems across multiple teams efficiently
Identify challenges and actively work to find solutions to streamline financial processes
Process invoices via the FOX Workflow system
Oversee Monday.com department hours and project data and budget project tracking
Track invoices, reconcile final bills and monthly meeting card bills
Create reports to support department and company strategic goals.
Collect and distribute project codes
Reconcile shipping charges for the department
Process interdepartmental chargebacks
Process expense reports
File accumulated invoices and receipts physically and digitally
Work with vendors to navigate FOX AP system and provide payment status upon the vendor’s request
Vendor Onboarding
Process payroll paperwork for freelance employees
Other duties and projects as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3-5 years financial/accounting/budgeting experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people throughout all levels of the company
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Be able to anticipate the needs of the department and take initiative to meet those needs with limited oversight
A self-starter, curious with a drive to learn more
Solution-oriented, problem solver
Customer service oriented and able to represent Creative Services appropriately both internally and externally
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, and Outlook, and expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and continue to manage daily administrative duties with a positive attitude
Ability to multitask and work effectively with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work overtime and occasionally weekends
