Job Description

Forefront Healthcare is looking for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate at our corporate office in St Clair Shores, Michigan. This position will report to the Controller/Partner and will include a broad spectrum of general accounting activities.

The position will consist of a hybrid office/remote balance and may have flexible hours based on month-end close requirements.

Accounting:
Responsibilities:
Core responsibility will include but is not limited to:

Accounts Payable

• Daily input high-volume lime posting electronically (Bill.com)
• Month end excel based reconciliation between GL and operations reporting
• Maintain new and existing vendors in the accounting system
• Vendor statement review, reconciliation, and resolution
• Weekly AP payment run assistance
• Management of contract vendor invoices and employee travel expenses

Accounts Receivable/Billing

• Monthly Customer invoicing
• Application and tracking of internal cash receipts
• Balance accounts regularly to achieve timely monthly closing of Accounts Receivable
• Maintain billing schedule including client renewal increases
• Collections interactions with internal and external partners

General Accounting

• Prepare and post month-end entries
• Assist with month-end close
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintain other balance sheet schedules
• General financial analysis

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must have strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLookup) and/or Google Sheets experience
• Minimum 2-year associate degree in accounting with 4+ years of accounting work

experience

• Experience with QuickBooks a plus but not required
