Job Duties:
1. Core Responsibilities
a. Bill monthly room and board
b. Call payees with outstanding payments or billing issues
c. Coordinate with CMH billing departments to determine rate breakdowns, discuss issues with authorizations, and other monthly billing issues/concerns
d. Communicate any billing issues to CEO and COO
e. Oversee Accounts Payable
f. Oversee Accounts Receivable
g. Manage TSheets users
h. Audit time for all employees to ensure accuracy
i. Manage ADP users
j. Create, maintain, update, and archive ADP users
k. Oversee various projects from start to finish, including PTO, creating, and updating new policies as needed
l. Conduct regular financial audits of each home
m. Train staff on new policies, including software changes
n. Meet with orientation staff to discuss company payroll and time sheet policies
o. Collaborate with the CPA firm to ensure accurate financial numbers, retain records, and plan for continued financial success.
p. Flexibility and commitment to work the hours and times required to perform the responsibilities of the job, including evenings and weekends as may be necessary
2. Effective Teamwork & Communication
a. Maintain a positive, collaborative, and open relationship with counties and management
b. Utilize all communication tools including FIN
c. Maintain and advocate for all Flatrock residents’ rights
d. Request information needed from management in a timely fashion
e. Complete any additional task assigned from the Chief Operating Officer & CEO
3. Requirements
a. Licensed Certified Public Accountant
b. Understanding of general accounting software such as QuickBooks
c. Excellent interpersonal skills
d. Strong written and communication skills
e. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
f. Great time management skills
