Financial Accounting Foundation Looking for FASB Business Intern at United States, Connecticut, Norwalk Full Time

Position Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Director supports administrative aspects of data maintenance, reporting and data migration. The Business Intern also provides administrative support to technical project teams and assists in other projects as directed by the Technical Director.

Students at all levels; freshman, sophomore, junior, etc. are encouraged to apply.

Position Responsibilities:

• Data Maintenance
  1. Reviews contact information (e.g., names, organizations) that has been input into system for completeness and accuracy.
  2. Reviews interaction records to ensure that documentation is in accordance with our policies and procedures.

• Trustee Reporting
  1. Prepares PowerPoint presentations for quarterly Trustee Reporting and other ad hoc reporting, as needed.
  2. Reviews high level analytics to identify variances from previous quarter. Works with staff to understand and document, as appropriate, the rationale for the variances.

• Data Migration
  1. Assists with historical data migration
  2. Reviews/cleans-up files to migrate final copies from server to SharePoint.
  3. Supports implementation of the plan to migrate historical project material.
  4. Tags files migrated to SharePoint with associated metadata.

• Other Projects
  1. Assists the Assistant Director with other projects as needed, including record retention.
  2. Assists as needed with administrative projects supporting the technical project teams, as directed by the Technical Director.
