POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) is the not-for-profit organization responsible for the oversight and administration of accounting and reporting standards established by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). FAF is seeking one intern with strong business, writing, and digital/social media skills required to support the Public Affairs department. This position offers a hybrid work environment with scheduling flexibility; it is suitable for students looking to gain experience in a corporate environment while enrolled in pre-or post-graduate course work or committed to other part-time obligations, as well as recent graduate students.
The Digital Communications Intern will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy and Content, and support the communications team by coordinating on social media and marketing efforts. Responsibilities will include creating and posting content for the FAF’s various social media feeds, maintaining an overall social media calendar that governs the cadence of social media postings, and additional project work as required by the department. The intern will take part in all teamwide activities and can contribute to the overall communications strategy of the organization.
