Job DescriptionPosition Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join the leadership team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the financial operations of the manufacturing processes. You will manage a dedicated accounting team responsible for operational accounting and bookkeeping, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial activities.

Initial interviews will take place remotely in Sacramento, but the company is based in the Atwater/Merced area, and they offer relocation assistance upon hire.

Key Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and presentation.
• Track expenses, perform reconciliations, and manage balance sheets and GL entries.
• Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage budgets and prepare various quarterly and year-end s.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Continuously improve financial processes and implement best practices in operational accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Valid CPA license.
• Proven experience or familiarity with financial processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong passion for finance and accounting, with excellent people skills and time management abilities.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
