Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing will lead a team of subject matter experts and develop marketing and advertising strategies and initiatives for communication with customers, prospects, and internal employees. The Director of Marketing will establish best practices and campaigns based on company initiatives and goals and supports the marketing team to execute them through coordinating marketing initiatives, designing marketing research projects and analyzing results.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Fastline’s marketing goals and objectives.
• Directs team on creation of advertising and sales collateral materials and resources.
• Oversees development of email, social media, SEM/SEO, digital and traditional print campaigns.
• Establishes research methods, such as survey, opinion poll, or questionnaire, and designs means for collecting data about Fastline’s readers, advertisers and prospects.
• Support sales team on sales calls, presentation and advertising strategy development.
• Travel with sales associates and attends trade shows as necessary for research purposes.
• Report department activity and success to management and sales teams.
• Develops and conducts surveys and focus groups to analyze customer purchasing patterns, preferences, and organization’s image and marketing effectiveness.
• Researches market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.
• Gathers, analyzes, and compares competitor data.
• Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations for action plans to management.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• 4+ years proven marketing experience
• Superior attitude and work ethic
• Superior communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and people
• Creativity
