We are Familia, a construction company based in Los Angeles, California. We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of our company’s human resources practices and processes. He or she will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our goals and objectives, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Location: Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our goals and objectives.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, screening of candidates, and making job offers.
3. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that they receive the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles.
4. Manage employee relations issues including disciplinary actions and performance management.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time.
6. Develop and implement employee engagement programs to improve employee morale and boost productivity.
7. Manage benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management in the construction industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of the latest employment laws and regulations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Experience managing employee relations issues and performance management.
8. Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.
