Marketing and Communications Coordinator Position

Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado

The Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado (ECCNC) – a premiere and fast-growing eye care facility specializing in routine and specialty eye care – is seeking a full-time, energetic and experienced Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The coordinator will play an integral role in continuing to shape and grow our patient and referral base, as well as optimizing our marketing presence across multiple channels including social media, search platforms, our website, and email marketing.

The responsibilities include cultivating new and existing referral relationships with a primary goal of maintaining and expanding the practice’s referral base. The coordinator will effectively plan, analyze, and implement outreach efforts in the market area. The coordinator will be responsible for creating, distributing, and analyzing marketing content.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include cultivating new and existing referral relationships; utilizing marketing and communications techniques; and identifying areas in the referral loop for both performance improvement and barriers to success
• Maintaining a database of referral sources and tracking results and trends to analyze existing and potential volume of referrals on a consistent basis.
• Collaborates with the Practice Administrator and individual physicians in the Eye Care Center to develop marketing strategies to build established referral relationships and foster new referral relationships.
• Develops new marketing materials and plans ongoing promotions.
• Coordinates projects with the group’s online marketing consultant to maintain and improve online content posted to the group’s websites and social media channels.
• Prepare any established reports regarding marketing activity as requested.
• Utilize all programs and promotions to create brand awareness and demand.
• Participate in market analysis and competitive analysis as needed.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with referring physicians including making regular phone calls and visits to develop new relationships with referring physicians
• Create referral packets and distribute to referral sources as needed
• Mailings for introduction of new doctors/procedures/technology
• Coordinate and develop marketing materials for biannual continuing education events featuring ECCNC physicians
• Coordinate annual Longmont Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event
• Organize and attend ECCNC, Meyer’s Aesthetics Center, and Advanced Vision Surgery Center special events
• Prepare for and attend local health fairs
• Create, edit, and approve final proofs of advertising and marketing materials
• Create or coordinate production of all forms, brochures, and letterhead
• Coordinate monthly promotions and communication efforts online and through social media, email newsletters, and in-office flyers
• Meet regularly with SEO/website manager and Practice Administrator
• Coordinate orders of employee scrubs, logo-clothing, physicians’ white coats, and business cards
• Attend webinars and conferences for ongoing education

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Preferred (concentration in marketing preferred.)
• Knowledge of MS office applications
• Thorough knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads
• Knowledge of social media
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Ability to utilize basic medical terminology
• Ability to organize and analyze data to report on Key Performance Indicators and redirect marketing efforts to meet group’s objectives
• Excellent customer service skills with effective oral and written communication
• Sales experience and personality aligning with sales productivity.
• Work independently and under pressure; establish priorities and coordinate work activities effectively.
• Communicate complex information in a well thought-out easily understood manner, both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles.
• Ability to communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships with patients and referring providers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
