WE NEED AN HR GENERALIST FOR COMPANY IN AURORA, IL

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Assistant will support the onsite HR department in the administrative and day to day HR functions for the Aurora DC.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and supervisors by answering questions and proactively troubleshooting HR related challenges
• Assist in managing the HRIS/Payroll system
• Support the HR Generalist/Manager in administering hourly compensation, employee benefits plan, and other related projects
• Assist with hourly recruiting functions, including scheduling phone screens and interviews, ordering background checks, and processing job offers/declines, updating job descriptions, conducting new hire orientation, liaising with staffing agencies, and coordinating new hire processing.
• Audit files/forms for compliance, such as the I-9
• Create, communicate, implement, and coordinate employee appreciation activities
• Administratively support human resources policies, procedures, and programs
• Serve as the DC receptionist and office clerk

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma required/2-Year College Degree preferred
• Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and results oriented.
• Proficient in working with computers and Microsoft Office suites
