What You Will Do:
The Finance Manager is an individual contributor role that will develop a deep understanding of the eXp Realty Corporate FP&A business and uncover insights that drive the business. They will work independently to develop rigorous financial plans as well as analyze and report results in a deadline focused environment. They will provide business finance partnership and expertise to leaders in their respective areas and create financial modeling scenarios for Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Business Unit profitability. The position requires a high degree of initiative, collaboration, professional curiosity, problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and superior communication skills.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Create timely reporting for Consolidated PNL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
Develop and lead financial understanding of the forecasting and planning process, collaborating with the Business Unit leaders and modeling for optimal profit
Develop financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and reporting to Executive Management and the Board of Directors
Leverage and improve use of financial tools such as Oracle, Tableau, Excel, and proprietary systems
Develop industry and competitor financial insights and communicate to finance and business leadership
Develop and improve processes in FP&A and cross-functionally leading to better collaboration, efficiency, accuracy, and clear communication of information
Mentor and back-up other FP&A associates
Other duties as assigned
How You Will Grab Our Attention:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
5+ years’ experience in FP&A or similar analytical role
Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
Possess strong attention to detail, good business acumen and excellent analytical skills
Advanced communication skills
Collaborative, knows when to challenge and comfortable with conflict
Anticipates next challenge, need, etc. and stays on top of the work
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
