Well-known specialized commercial insurance firm has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable to join their team. Responsible for computing, classifying, and recording expenditures and revenue data to keep the company’s records complete. Actively participate with team members to achieve company and departmental goals to complete tasks within time restrictions and effective communication. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist’s Responsibilities
Record, store, and analyze information using specialized accounting software
Audit figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and code expenses according to company procedures
Confirm proper authorizations and issue payments via checks and/or ACH and wire transfers
Respond to inquiries, concerns, and identification of problems or issues related to accounts payable and accounts receivable data
Set up, maintain, and electronically file accounts payable and accounts receivable records
Prepare, verify, balance, and make bank deposits
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist’s Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience
Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards assignments
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
Intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Image Right)
Ability to multi-task and work with multiple customers
