Top Rated Equipment and Seasonings for the Food Industry is seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk in Signal Hill!!You will be responsible for preparing and processing payments accurately and on time for account owed by the company. Reviews and verifies all statements, and invoices needed to prepare payments.

The right candidate will possess the following skills and abilities

• Review all received invoices for appropriate supporting documentation and approval prior to payment
• Maintain vendor relationships by responding to inquiries via phone, mail and email
• Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls and keeping company information strictly check runs
• Resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records, including invoices
• Perform administrative and other tasks as needed
• Reception rotation for breaks and lunches
• Other duties as assigned

Junior Accountant Generalist Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. BS/BA degree in related field highly preferred
• General accounting experience preferred
• Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles
• Willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
• Must be computer savvy with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Superb organization skills, attention to detail and prioritizing ability
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and switch tasks quickly
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to use good judgment in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
