Paid Time Off

Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Manager, RCM Accounts Receivable!

Responsibilities

The Manager of RCM Accounts Receivable will manage the activities of an accounts receivable department. Ensures the effective collection of Accounts Receivables for all clients and the appropriate processing of denials. This requires constant communication and follow up with the staff and upper management. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity /quality standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyze information and processes and develop more effective or efficient processes and strategies.
• Delegate responsibilities and supervise business operations
• Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures.
• Establish and achieve business and profit objectives. Utilize management reports and tools including Tableau KPIs and other various reports used to monitor the status of A/R to ensure appropriate billing and timely collections.
• Oversight of automated workflow system to ensure the proper completion of denials and no-response items.
• Monitor the inventory of the incoming insurance calls.
• Communicate department issues to the Director of AR Resolution.
• Direct interaction with other legacy RTI departments.
• Work with internal company departments, both EVPS and legacy RTI, to maintain accurate and useful processes that can be utilized by the department to enable them to complete their required job duties.
• Generate reports and present information to upper-level managers or other parties.
• Hire, train, motivate and coach employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
• Review staff performance, conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective action.
• Maintain high level of both written and oral communication with internal departments, as well as with outside client contacts and any other insurance plan or agency provider.
• Obtain clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Management or Healthcare related field.
• Three years A/R management experience required.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

Maintain Fluency (working Knowledge Of) With Various Tools

• Microsoft Office
• Tableau
• Billing systems (e.g., EmBillz).
• Spreadsheet, word processing/presentation tools, (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Bank lockbox and reporting systems.
• Timekeeping, Payroll, Human Resource Information System tools (Kronos, Oracle)
