Commercial Banking Officer- Life Insurance Premium Finance Team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in the management of loan portfolios for new loans, renewals, and annual reviews based on established lending guidelines, loan policies, and established procedures.
• Work with Loan Coordinators in the processing and documentation of new loans and renewals of existing loans.
• Act as liaison between RMs and customers on day to day activities involving various departments within the Bank.
• Assist the team with the origination of potential new debt financing and deposit opportunities.
• Manages RMs loan maturity pipeline, ensuring that renewals are approved and closed in a timely manner.
• May act as point of contact for all clients for servicing requests related to client relationship.
• Assist the team with tracking all exception tracking items, monthly monitoring reports for concentration limits, collateral, covenant compliance, receive inforce illustrations from carriers
• Performs other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• This position requires strong detail oriented and time management skills, along with ability to make decisions based on a thoughtful assessment of risk

• Must have excellent communication habits and present sound recommendations in a professional manner.
• Effective time management and organizational skills are required for daily multi-tasking.
• Superb inter-personal skills to work within a team environment while successfully developing/retaining client relationships.
• Self-motivated to work independently and take ownership and accountability.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
• Minimum one to three years credit underwriting or commercial lending experience

Computer and Software Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Google Mail.
• Salesforce and nCino experience preferred.
