Enson Group Looking for Staff Accountant at Cincinnati, Ohio Full Time

Staff Accountant sought due to growth at Enson Group. The Staff Accountant will have both an immediate and lasting impact on all company operations, helping Enson Group to furnish leadership with crucial information, strategize savings, perform impactful audits, and grow the company’s financial position. Enson Group, located in the Lockland area of Cincinnati, OH, is a growing closely-held marketer and distributor of food service products, equipment and supplies to restaurants. VonLehman & Company is a CPA & Advisory firm retained to perform this search for our client.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions, and reconcile any financial discrepancies by performing or directing forensic research of accounting issues for compliance.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information, and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts, and providing information for auditors.
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information, converting data to general ledger system, obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field,
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Experience working in a sales and distribution company with a mobile service fleet is a plus
• Mandarin language skills preferred
