We have an exciting opportunity for finance professionals at Emerson based in Louisville, KY. Emerson is a fortune 500 Global business that offers a hybrid work schedule, a commitment to a diverse workforce and generous benefits. This exciting opportunity will report to the Director of Finance and will allow for interaction with Top Management on a regular basis. Join our team in interacting with all the functions of the business to help support both short and long term financial planning to make informed ROI based decisions.
AS A FINANCIAL MANAGER YOU WILL:
-
Prepare weekly and monthly sales and orders reports, monthly financial statements, and quarterly and annual forecasting.

Build and maintain financial models and templates for weekly and monthly sales and orders reports, monthly financial documents, and quarterly and annual forecasting.
-
Build templates and models for long term financial planning for the business.
-
Participate in preparation for strategic and operational planning cycles including President’s Council, Planning Conference, Budget Review, Profit Review, and Financial Review.

Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual ad-hoc financial reports required by Emerson Corporate & Management.

Assist with developing presentations for board meetings and prepare analysis to review forecasts with management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Advanced MS Excel, PowerBI, and SQL skills / experience

Ability to balance projects, demonstrate tried accounting and financial analysis ability
-
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to work all levels within the organization

Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management Software Suite, including Hyperion SmartView
-
Process Automation and / or process improvement
-
Data Analytics
-
Project Management / Six Sigma
