What the job looks like:
Under the direction of a Lead Developer designs, develops, tests, maintains and provides support of company applications while adhering to company coding standards, security requirements and department policies and procedures.
The Developer I is expected to implement tasks and provide feedback within the team.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Write, test, and maintain programming code that is used in the operation of the companyo Update assigned user stories with estimates, elapsed time, and implementation detailso Participate in any phase of the development lifecycle, from initial design through implementationo Build highly responsive applications that align with our business needs.
o Work in teams with other developers, designers, project managers and testers to deliver quality software on-time with the functionality requested
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree (B.
S.
) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical discipline or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Participated in building production applications using languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript and GO o Familiar with relational database concepts and basic SQL skillso Understanding of HTTP basics (Request/Response) and (Client/Server)o OOP knowledge o Ability to work effectively through collaboration across disciplines, feature teams, and partnerso Expertise in formal and informal programming techniqueso Familiar with Cloud Computing concepts
