Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for growing the Credit Union’s brand equity, engaging existing members and acquiring new members by producing content for employees and members that reflect the Credit Union’s brand, voice, tone and regulatory and compliance requirements. This includes content that is operational, informational and promotional; maintaining, evolving and optimizing the website; creating and executing public relations, social media, and financial education strategies; creating content for Credit Union initiatives; providing channel metrics and recommendations to increase engagement; and reporting trends and news for the financial services industry and education community
Required Qualifications:
This position requires a BA degree in Marketing or related major, and extensive knowledge of financial services solutions and strategies related to public relations, website search engine optimization and social media. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the financial services industry as well as experience with design, video and website publishing software. This position requires a thorough knowledge of MS Office programs and experience with web content management systems, search engine optimization and digital and social media analytics.
