Job Summary:

Responsible for execution and delivery for all shared service operations encompassing 5 global centers operating in 5 regions and employing roughly 1,100 people. Responsible for all service delivery and operational engagement/coordination while driving continuous improvement efforts across GFSS centers. Will partner closely with global process leaders and transformation teams along with IT organization to drive standardization, new service implementations, and continuous improvement efforts, including deployment of all metrics, reporting and customer service management. Primary point of escalation for executive finance leaders in the businesses and regions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversight of staffing, service approach, and continuous improvement focus for global financial services
• Manage operating budget of ~$70M annually
• Assess core vs. non-core activities, assess alternatives for managed service arrangements and management of any transitions and ongoing third-party support
• Manage staffing and capability development of ~1,100-person organization in 5 regional centers today
• Responsible for overall service delivery and metrics performance for all global operations supported
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operating metrics deployment across centers
• Be accountable to operations for overall service and results impacting our businesses
• Partner with global process leaders to align consistent practices and processes across centers
• Partner with global process leaders and IT organization on refreshes, upgrades & enhancements to systems and tools
• Deployment of new technology solutions to ensure value realization
• Execute on new service initiatives and enhancements (i.e., end to end support model and similar initiatives adding scope to centers)
• Deliver annual efficiency targets in centers each fiscal year
• Manage third party support (where applicable) to rationalize and improve cost/benefits

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting mandatory. Master’s Degree preferred
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership with strong focus on:
  • Strong leadership attributes and interpersonal skills with diverse and global teams
  • Strategic thinking and focus on functional excellence
  • Business acumen to relate to and manage operational relationships
  • Operational credibility and mindset – results driven approach
  • Global knowledge and experience including ability to manage diverse customer base with varying needs
  • Organizational change management skills – ability to drive change and challenge status quo
  • Understanding complex regulatory environments – learning agility
• Strong accounting and financial acumen & expertise. Base knowledge of financial systems and ability to assess & understand systems & technical requirements
• Ability to convey complex information, develop communication strategies, and persuade significantly diverse audiences.
• Reconciles multiple stakeholder perspectives to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to develop execution strategies & drive alignment with business operations
