The Vice President of Human Resources leads the HR function of Eataly North America, providing direction on interpretation of policies, recruitment and selection, onboarding, benefits administration, training, performance management, employee relations, terminations and more. Reports directly to Executive Vice President of Eataly North America. Functionally manages the in-store Human Resources Business Partners.
* Deploys a fully integrated people strategy for the whole employee lifecycle, serving as a liaison between the corporate center and store teams
* Develops and oversees programs to foster an inclusive culture and diverse workplace environment that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential
* Creates and perpetuates policies, procedures, and internal and external communications that maintain compliance, elevate operational efficiencies, and protect and promote Eatalys brand identity
* Hires the best and brightest talent, trains them to be even better, supports their needs, applauds their triumphs, and makes way for them to grow into other positions and areas within the organization
* Sets a high-expectations strategy and direction for Human Resources quest to align and support the companys overall goals and objectives; uses metrics to analyze the effectiveness of operations and policies; reengineers processes as needed
* Audits adherence to State and Federal guidelines and standards related to Human Resources
* Offers guidance, education, coaching and support to the operations teams to set and propel company goals, policies and procedures, guidelines, metrics and measurements distinguished by excellence
* Partners closely with peers and top leadership to ensure all Human Resources initiatives are integrated with the companys business goals and objectives
* Manages complex employee relations issues: conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisors
* Helps to develop and facilitate a company-wide training and development platform, which outlines base/foundational requirements, provides clear career progression and allows for opportunities to add and strengthen skills
* Performs other duties as required or assigned
