Job Description

BASIC FUNCTIONThe Director of Finance will oversee all financial matters for our organization and will be expected to combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecast.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Serve as a financial advisor to the President and executive team for strategic planning
• Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparations
• Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses
• Responsible for development, oversight, and management of the organization’s investment plan
• Advise on financing options to support organizational growth
• Lead and manage budgeting process
• Responsible for gathering financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance
• Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
• Manage insurance coverage for the organization, including compliance
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial information to appropriate groups, including internal parties, government regulators and outside agencies

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline Five to Ten Years of managerial experience Certifications such as CPA, CFA, and CMA are preferred In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAPP) Awareness of business trends Familiarity with accounting statements Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills including visual aids, V-Lookups and Pivot tables Follows all company policies and proceduresADDITIONAL SKILLS Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead Self-motivated and self-directed Accurate and precise attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals Will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and nights as required for the position.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
