As a Training Manager, you will lead strategic delivery, and project management of training for Disney Vacation Club (DVC). Whether creating and facilitating independently or with direct reports, partnership with the Training & Development team, collaboration with global partners, and project management will be at the forefront of your work. You will have a broad scope of responsibilities. Partnership, influence, and consultation will be important as you lead work across DVC. With team leadership, program management, strategy, and new ideas as priorities, you are expected to work solo or with a team of Cast Members to create and facilitate training content. You will create evaluation strategies, measure success, and align with business metrics. A future-focused mindset and experience with change management will be essential to your success. Excellent partnership and execution skills are important. You will use your high-level project management to lead complex programs and collaborate with your team, peers, and partners to achieve results.
You Will:
Lead project integrator responsible for designing and managing multiple programs, creating and monitoring project plans, developing and delivering content, and ensuring the goals/outcomes meet our needs
Lead Content Curators/Program Facilitators, set business strategy, and leverage to inspire a team
Manage peer and partner relationships directly, often times at the senior management or executive levels, to lead project deliverables
Consult and influence partners on training strategy
In partnership with peers, intake training requests, analyze needs, consult on solutions, and prioritize and lead project
Evaluate the effectiveness of training and integrate solutions
You Have:
5+ years of Leadership, Project, and/or Program Management experience
Ability to manage large scope / high complexity projects.
Skills with communication with leaders at all levels, influence, partnership, prioritization, and change leadership
Possess essential soft skills vital to the role, including Leadership, Communication, Collaboration & Conflict Resolution
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, facilitation, and instructional design
Skills with prioritization, and change leadership
Knowledge in quickly learning and applying technology tools
Initiative to take action to resolve issues, accomplish tasks, and improve efficiency
Experience maintaining confidential information
Ability and flexibility to work at home or on property
Have a flexible schedule to support needs across time zones
You will report to the Manager of Training and Development
