Yellow Shoes is the in-house agency that develops creative strategies and solutions to support DPEP. Customer Engagement connects Disney with consumers through the development of holistic, audience-focused, data-driven communication plans across various media channels.
This role will lead the financial planning and quarterly close processes, labor management, day-to-day financial support and ad hoc business analysis. This role will lead 2 direct reports and partner heavily with the Marketing COE executive leadership teams, the site-based commercial and marketing strategy teams, and the site-based marketing and financial planning finance teams.
Experience with leadership, executive communication, partnering, presenting, and financial consolidations will be beneficial.
Responsibilities :
Lead team of 2 financial analysts responsible for the development of ongoing financial processes (e.g., AOP, long-term plan, forecast, quarter end close) and ad hoc business support
Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to develop high-performing team
Manage multiple projects, strategically prioritize deliverables, and establish deadlines and work plans to achieve end goals
Proactive communicator (verbal and written) and relator who can interface effectively at all levels in the Marketing & Finance organizations
Identify, evaluate and implement internal efficiency opportunities
Basic Qualifications :
Ability to have partnership, influencing and interpersonal skills with all levels of individuals within the organization
Focus on fostering an environment that promotes teamwork between Finance and Marketing teams
Knowledge of financial processes and systems, including excel and SAP
Ability to be flexible, proactive, motivated and respond to the needs and priorities with agility
Attention to detail, problem solving, decision making, continuous improvement skills and the ability to embrace new thoughts and ideas
Demonstrate passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion, including inviting diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive work environment
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent
Preferred Education :
Minimum 7 years Finance experience
