Job Summary:
DMED is seeking a Senior Manager who will lead our Product Finance team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for providing business decision support through financial and user analysis to support user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Specifically, they will be the lead day-to-day partner for the Product and Engineering teams to evaluate product proposals and provide key financial inputs in the decision making process. The right person for this role has exceptional analytical skills, is an outstanding communicator, sets a high bar for themselves, and has a track record of successfully working with Product teams and other relevant business groups. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Partner with various business stakeholders, particularly Product, Product Strategy, and Engineering, to evaluate opportunities to improve the user experience and address consumer needs
Oversee quantitative and qualitative cost-benefit analysis for each new product initiative proposal
Lead, manage, and develop a small team of analysts
Play an integral role in developing testing / experimentation culture by partnering with Experimentation Team to test product ideas that accelerate subscriber growth, engagement, and retention
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience in direct-to-consumer, subscription companies
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or other quantitative field
6+ years of professional experience in a direct-to-consumer, subscription company
Business partnership experience with Product and/or Engineering teams is a plus
Analytical abilities and strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
