Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management
Maintains accounting system
Ensures accurate financial report/invoice generation, generates new reports and/or formats, as necessary, to respond to Government inquiries and data requirements
Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals
Proactively identifies and recommends new approaches to improve quality, cost and process inefficiencies
Reviews financial reports
Prepares financial forecasts
Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance
Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
Assists management to make financial decisions
Investigates means to improve profitability
Reviews and processes payments of the company
Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents
Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business

Work Environment
This job operates in workshop and office environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners, and presentation materials. This job also requires use of hand tools, site equipment and vehicles. This role is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand. Lifting of up to 75 lbs may occur. Expectation of exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, snow).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours associated with contract work vary by contract. Flexibility is required of all candidates for both scheduling and duties assigned. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.
Travel
Travel is associated with all contract work and may be required. Ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, applied mathematics, economics, or related field, required
8+ years of experience related to financial management, budget execution, and/or accounting to include:
Preparation of estimated needs and costs
Use of financial management methods to track, monitor, reconcile, control, and maintain records of expenditures
Preparation of complex billing invoices and expenditure reports
Financial management and/or accounting experience for complex, high dollar projects $50M+ annually
Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar, a plus
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
