Dentive Hiring for Dental Finance Director Job at Provo, UT Full Time

Dentive is currently seeking a Finance Director for our office in Provo, UT! Previous dental experience required.

We are looking for a highly-organized and detail-oriented Finance Director otherwise known as a Practice Finance Business Partner with previous experience in a Dental Support Organization. In this role, you will ensure company-wide transparency of results at practice level by combining information from the regions and other areas to form a coherent overall picture.

The focus here is providing optimization opportunities or expenditure requests from the practice as well as advise on budgets and timelines related to practice objectives. The ideal professional is self-driven, innovative and customer-focused with a healthy level of self-confidence, motivation and team spirit.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Proactively support for Senior Management
• Provide effective decision making support and recommendations to management based on financial analysis and facts
• Drive business case development and optimize controlling processes and tools
• Act with an entrepreneurial mind-set and create transparency on financials to enable proper decision taking, propose and follow-up on cost efficiency initiatives as well as projects
• Oversee reporting, planning and forecasting for the respective function: elaborate, challenge and collaborate in planning on department and project level
• Prepare reports and presentations to the management and create ad hoc analyses
• You will be responsible for management through to delivery of all P&Ls, KPIs, banking controls, capex analysis and pay schedules for the clinicians in the region. The role will partner with Operations Managers and Head of Operations for specific regions, you will work towards a strategy of performance improvement tailored to the needs of each individual practice.
• Partner level support of the Field Operations team and practices- Coaching the team to achieve the monthly schedule and high standards of output is a key priority.
• Ability and motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
• Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.

Experience/Education requirements

• Master’s in Business Administration is preferred, but Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or management will also be considered
• Previous dental experienced
• Advanced Excel skills

Compensation is competitive, but heavily DOE.
