The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with the CEO and Plant Manager to drive organizational performance and growth, as well as, retention, engagement, employee relations, and training and development in a manufacturing environment.
HR MANAGER ESSENTIAL TASKS:
· Lead HR programs and initiatives to meet organizational expectations for continuous improvement.
· Coach, mentor and develop staff regarding interview skills, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, and documentation of performance issues.
· Coach and educate members of management relative to employee relations issues/concerns. Conduct employee relation investigations, if needed.
· Lead the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and issuing offer letters. Coordinate with Win Job Center for recruiting, assessment testing, and reimbursement programs. Conduct onboarding and offboarding.
· Administer payroll and other company benefit programs for 60+ employees.
· Ensure organizational awareness of appropriate HR policies, programs, procedures, and expectations. Maintain and update Employee Handbook.
· Coordinate employee training and development programs as defined by the training matrix. Manage training records for personnel.
· Responsible for compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all human resources related matters.
HR MANAGER REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Effective coaching and listening skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
· Proficient use of online recruiting tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter
HR MANAGER EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Ten (10) years of human resources experience in an industrial company
