Delta Looking for Manager, Engine Inventory Strategy at Atlanta, GA Full Time

The Manager, Engine Inventory Strategy is responsible for engine asset planning and forecasting, engine commercial material program management, and engine material strategic project oversight. These responsibilities are for both Delta and MRO Customer engine work. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develops both strategic & tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety & well-being.

Provides material forecast guidance to internal business partners as well as suppliers

Provides oversight of LLP purchasing and strategic management to optimize cost per flight cycle

Works closely with the engine data and analytics team to developed and maintain both short term (up to 1 year) and long term (1 year +) material forecasts

Responsible for working directly with the TechOps Finance team to develop and maintain the engine inventory balance plan with the expectation of optimizing this plan with engine operational support

Works closely with Engine Material Operations team to develop and maintain a concise and usable source of information regarding material forecasts and upcoming demands

Work closely with MRO Services to ensure material processes, forecasting and inventory pipeline supports customer engine production demands while maximizing profit margins

Work closely with Supply Chain in both development and execution of Engine Material Programs to maximize cost savings while ensuring feasibility

Adheres to and supports Engine Maintenance and Engine Materials performance metrics and works toward specific group goals

Advises and makes changes in TOPP to create comprehensive and safe procedural processes

Must be performing satisfactorily in present position
