Work you’ll do
As a Consultant within our practice, you will:
Assist with finance process documentation, assessment, and automation
Work with government leaders, product owners, and end-users to understand current state business processes and develop future state processes.
Design and implement technical solutions to improve financial management activities
Advise our clients on technical accounting and internal controls matters
Assist with accounting and financial reporting operations
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Assist in proposal development, as requested

Qualifications
Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field
1+ years of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments
1+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information
1+ years of finance transformation, process improvement, and reconciliation experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Ability to travel 50%-80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Familiarity with U.S. government financial accounting systems
Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA
Government and/or federal accounting experience preferred
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and c ertifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84K to $128K.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
