About the role
Deel is a platform that can support hiring and paying your team almost anywhere on earth either as a contractor, employee of record or direct employee. As such, the way in which we bill our clients for our services has grown increasingly complex and our invoicing system must scale accordingly. Your job will be to build a highly flexible and extendable invoicing platform that can address Deel’ complex immediate and long-term invoicing needs.
What you will do:
Own end-to-end client-facing and back-office invoicing and billing at Deel
Work with finance, product teams and commercial leadership to prioritise invoicing and billing needs across the business.
Become an expert in our invoicing and billing levers, and how this connects to Deel’s business line and platform
Take full cycle ownership of your work from ideation, design, review and feedback in the final test-build and post-release
Rapidly create impactful and elegant solutions to specific problems in conjunction with a highly talented team of product designers and engineers
Above all – Be part of the journey to redefine a way of working for people all round the world
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 5 years of product management experience in a fast pace environment (ideally scaleup/start-up)
Highly proactive and effective communicator – you enjoy and are able to work with a diverse group of people from non-technical stakeholders to engineers
Thrives in very complex, fast-moving and ambiguous environments with little need for specific direction
Thrives at simultaneously executing a mix of short-term tactical product wins and longer-term strategic projects
Has experience:
Delivering highly complex finance and/or invoicing/billing systems
Working with data to drive decision-making
Using APIs & internal tools
