One of our citizens is a leading music industry brand with a suite of products and services for artists, songwriters, labels, managers, and publishers. In 2022 and 2023 they are focused on expanding our offering with new products and formats that reimagine how artists and fans connect on their platform.

DBC aims to to expand our partnership, and thus we are looking for a creative, passionate, and data-driven Product Marketing Consultant to drive growth and engagement across their fan monetization product suite, with a focus on fan awareness and adoption. This is a full-time contract role that will embed with our citizen’s Creator Marketing team. We’re looking for a candidate with deep empathy for artists and fans, the mastery of go-to-market strategies across audiences, ability to drive strategy and execution for campaigns and experiments. You will work hand in hand with their cross functional team including Product Managers, Research, Music Teams, Growth Marketing, and Engineering.

What you’ll own:

• You will drive go-to-market plans for some of our newest fan monetization products which serve both fans and artists: live audio experiences and subscriptions.
• You’ll build fan marketing campaigns and operate its execution across both products, including messaging and channel strategy to clearly communicate the product value prop and maximize for conversion.
• You’ll spearhead growth experimentation plans to maximize learnings and derive new insights to inform product development. Partner closely with data science and cross-functional teams to build out testing strategies.

Qualities that you embody

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing with a focus on consumer
• Experience with driving growth across the product lifecycle (acquisition, engagement, retention)
• Balance creativity, analytical horsepower, and deep product understanding to rapidly execute on your ideas
• You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels – you know how to match the message to the medium
• Strong organization and collaboration skills
• Effective communicator and experience leading cross-functional projects
• Delivers quality works at the intersection of culture and design
• Thrives in environments that require a lot of contexts switching and managing multiple priorities

Where you’ll be:

The team you’ll work with is located in both New York and San Francisco, however this position is remote with the flexibility to work from anywhere. This is a contract role with opportunity to hire full time.

Compensation (DBC Practices Pay Transparency)

This role is paid at $8,100 per month, for three months, with the opportunity to extend to a permanent position.
