Overview: Maintain operational and financial records, controlling expenditures against appropriations for various programs or projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including narrative and supporting schedules.
Prepare agency budget.
Prepare daily cash report.
Prepare payroll allocation and bank transfer.
Account analysis of revenue and expense accounts vs. budget.
Review of A/P & A/R aging’s to general ledger.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Prepare credit card summary activity.
Prepare and enter month end journal entries.
Prepare the 1099’s
Prepare and submit unclaimed funds report
Responsible for the completion of the year end audit
Maintain fixed asset schedule
Assist in preparation of/review of 990
Prepare SEFA/federal awards reporting
Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
Assist in all accounting functions as required by the Controller and CFO.
Assume special projects as assigned by Controller and CFO.
Monitoring and reporting of various agency grants.
