Dante Event Center Hiring for Finance and Office Manager Job at Sacramento, CA Full Time

Large banquet facility is seeking experienced bookkeeper to handle multiple accounting duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accounts payables & receivables
• Multiple bank reconciliations
• Management of general ledger
• Adjusting journal entries and accruals
• Payroll
• Prepare financial statements

· Prepare financial reports as needed/requested

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines

· Bookkeeper will be working with CPA firm

• 5 years of current, relevant bookkeeping experience
• A solid understanding of accounting principles

· Ability to multitask and work cohesively with other staff

· Excellent communication skills: answer phones, take messages, work with vendors and clients

· Open to working variable hours and overtime as needed

· Answering and recording calls/messages on the Daily Manager Log

· Answering questions about public events

· Receiving payments for club and public events

· Assisting with reservation rosters for public and club events in conjunction with the General Manager

· Receiving deliveries to include Food Orders, Liquor Orders, Special delivery and inventory items upon delivery when Managers are unavailable

· Assisting General Manager on the completion of the Monthly Event P&L Statement with Labor calculations

· Serve as HR Representative in conjunction with General Manager

salary will be based on consideration of work experience and education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 – $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)

• Accounting and Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• California Drivers License or equivalent (Required)
