Manage direct reports (Controller, Human Resources Business Partner, and other existing or future administrative personnel) and facilitate their growth
Work with the Controller to ensure that relevant and reliable financial information is available to the leadership team to facilitate optimized decision making
Ensure that Human Resources functions and goals are performed and continually improved
Foster a culture of engagement and fulfillment within the finance and administration organizations, focusing on goal setting and continuous improvement for employees
Establish and monitor staff performance and development and administer salary adjustments
Participate as a member of the Cybertrol executive leadership team, with key roles in the areas of strategic planning, financial reporting, forecasting and performance management
Develop, implement, and maintain accurate, timely and robust systems for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls
Manage the company’s annual forecasting process, and reforecasting when warranted
Analyze company’s financial performance and ensure that state of the art financial reporting is available to managers and the leadership team
Ensure that the company has adequate capital to implement its strategy
Assist with M&A activities when warranted
Partner with cross-functional managers and educate them on the benefits of the function and how finance can be a real value add
Maintain excellent relationships with vendors, auditors, and financing sources to facilitate company operations
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
10+ years of progressively responsible financial management and leadership experience
Progressive knowledge of accounting and finance principals, with the ability to apply them
Strong financial planning and analysis background
Knowledge of general Human Resources management tenants, including employee engagement, benefits administration, training programs, on boarding methodologies, employee handbooks, compensation plans, etc.
Ability to connect financial reporting with key business drivers and company strategy
Deep knowledge of job costing, reporting, and analysis
Good understanding of systems required to manage and report financial performance
Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff
Ability to evaluate financial trends and developments and provide cogent recommendations
Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become problems
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
High level of professionalism
Proficient with ERP Systems, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
Preferred Skills and Experience
MBA
CPA or CMA
Project based business experience
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system
Experience in a senior leadership role, such as a CFO/COO
HR information systems experience
