Director of Finance
Curt Landry Ministries International (CLM) is looking for a highly reliable, results-driven financial management director and team member with 5-10+ years of experience in finance/accounting and operations management. The Director of Finance position takes a holistic approach to financial oversight of the organization and displays an ability to streamline business operations and financial structure that helps position CLM for growth and increase efficiency thereby advancing the mission and vision of the organization. This team member will possess leadership acumen, an innovative mindset, excel in communication, and display interpersonal skills to establish rapport with all levels of staff and management.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee Financial/Accounting Department as well as a leader who can undergird the COO to assist in leading with the heart and culture of the organization.
- Responsible for the company’s long-term financial health and growth.
- Oversee and prepare annual budgeting and planning process and financial forecasting; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes; and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
- Ability to translate financial concepts to – and to effectively collaborate with staff who may not necessarily have finance backgrounds.
- Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements. As well as prepare financials for the CPA filing the 990 each year.
- Experience coordinating and implementing all necessary accounting functions such as audits, making general journal entries, payroll, 1099s, general ledger, payable & receivable and other accounting skill sets and functions to report correct financial statements and filings such as to the state or federal agencies etc.
- Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
- A track record in setting priorities; organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external relationships.
- Monitor the performance of investments and ROI.
- Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment /spending decisions
- Financial strategic planning to support the vision and plans for future growth.
- Enhance professional development, compensation and benefits for personnel.
- Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy.
- Donor Development:
- Cultivate & Manage relationships with individual donors, foundations, etc… to ensure that donors experience high-quality interactions with CLM that foster long-term engagement and investment.
- Oversees the development of the donor relation’s department and helping create and implement fundraising strategies as well both serving and hosting events.
- Legacy Giving: communicate with and provide education on donors on the purpose of legacy planning/giving/tax benefits
- Be the bridge for the connection to donor advised funds.
· Oversee and help implement CLM and inter-company programs and new ventures as the vision expands.
Skills/Abilities
· Excellent management and supervisory skills
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills
· Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education/Experience:
· Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required
· Five to ten years of experience in financial management required.

- Salary: 95k-125k based on experience.
