Senior Manager – Pricing

Job Summary: The Senior Manager – Pricing leads a team of individuals who are responsible for receiving, analyzing, and completing lane bids for customers in order to maximize the efficiency and profitability of the Expedited Solutions network and produce enough volume to overflow to 3rd party capacity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increase profitability through control, measurement, and analysis of pricing, fuel and customer yields.
- Respond quickly to customer requests for contractual and project based pricing.
- Responsible for completion of spot quotes, Requests For Information (RFI’s), Requests for Proposal (RFP’s), and other related activities in support of the company, Sales, and the Pricing Department.
- Prepare monthly pricing reports used for developing and benchmarking Sales strategies/goals.
- Analyze customer accounts and territories.
- Develop ideas to increase rate per mile and efficiency.
- Provide leadership in the areas of pricing, fuel and yield management
- Set objectives and direction for personnel.
- Motivate, train, and support staff.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years in the transportation Industry
- AA or BA in relevant field highly preferred
- Demonstrated sucess in managing high performance teams
