The Lead Team Member Experience Specialist strengthens Credit Acceptance as a great place to work through the creation of innovative and compelling team member-focused events and engagement opportunities within a hybrid work environment. This person will primarily focus on managing large-scale Company initiatives with the largest impact and complexity.
Outcome and Activities:
This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at an office location if requested by the team member.
Prioritizes the team member experience throughout planning the event; incorporating a holistic view of event/engagement to strengthen the Credit Acceptance internal brand, culture, and experience
Oversees full-project scope of deliverables for Company large-scale events as defined by [event matrix, ex: in-person and virtual attendees 500+]
Designs and implements impactful hybrid virtual/in-person programming
Develops and manages detailed event budgets and project timelines
Seeks new ways to offer high-level hospitality to our team members
Solicits feedback and implements improvements immediately
Manages all aspects of events from start to finish according to defined requirements including soliciting quotes and securing vendors for the venue, décor, menu, A/V service, entertainment, etc.
Discovers and maintains external partnerships to support the business and financial strategy for events and strengthen the external brand for the Company
Organically mentors team members to share knowledge and expertise
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and leadership to identify objectives
Fosters and maintains relationships with internal partners. Leverages these relationships to continue to understand the needs of the business and internal collaboration for events
Sustains a sense of urgency and ownership for all events managed, planned, and executed by the Credit Acceptance Experience Team
Provides planning and activation support for Credit Acceptance Experience team members to ensure a balanced and manageable workload. Accepts diverse projects based on availability.
Collaborates with Engagement Team members, internal, and external partners to achieve team, department, and company goals
Effectively prioritizes workload based on the needs and evolving focus of the HR department and Company
Delivers strong results on event KPIs, but remains innovative, confident, and flexible to test thoughtful ideas and approaches
Excels at navigating and leading conversations and meetings with all levels of team members
Serves as SME to advise and guide department decisions around engagement and events using skillset, industry knowledge and historical data and feedback
Understands and flourishes in an ever-changing landscape of projects and direction as an event professional
Continually discovers new industry knowledge by seeking out opportunities to network, learn and share ideas
Operates independently with little to no oversight from the manager

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or equivalent experience
5+ years of large-scale event management experience, and a proven track record developing and managing multiple simultaneous events
Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and budgets
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, above average skills with Excel
Ability to travel to meet business needs: up to 25% travel
Targeted Compensation: $66,500 – $88,500 + an annual bonus plan
