CSB(Craig Stein Beverage) is a 31 year old beverage and snack food distribution company operating in ID, WA, OR, and WY. We are currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable professional at our Boise office. The ideal candidate will have prior Accounts Receivable experience and a foundation of general accounting and and finance principles.
Responsibilities and Duties
Post customer payments by recording all cash, check, and electronic transmissions
Verify validity of account discrepancies by reviewing document information from customers, sales staff, and third-party representatives
Receive, process, and complete incoming payments in a timely manner
Verify and reconcile paid invoices with supporting back up documents
Communicate with office staff and third parties to resolve any customer payment discrepancies or disputes
Provide additional financial office support as directed by the Controller
Develop and implement financial procedures and protocols
Position Qualifications and Skills
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree or additional higher education in an accounting or finance field desired
A minimum of 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable experience or general office financial support experience
A strong attention to detail and proof reading skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel(V-Lookups)
General understanding of accounting and finance principles
Basic computer troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform well under stress and meet tight deadlines
Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and agility test
Compensation
Pay rate will depend on relevant experience and education
